There is a massive Tesco store in Dingwall. To get there just turn left at the top of the drive and drive slowly at times the road is only one lane wide the four miles to Dingwall . When you enter Dingwall look very carefully for Tulloch Avenue the fifth road on your left. Go down the brae and turn right at the lights follow the road and at the next set of lights you’ll see Tesco on your left. Take the time to do some shopping in Dingwall the butchers in particular have superb meats and sausages and sell excellent haggis and they’ll tell you how to cook it.

Closer to home is the co-op store in Evanton which for a small store has a great selection of food and drink. This time turn right follow the road until you come to a T junction turn left and you’ll see the store in the middle of the Village.

For gourmet foods you can’t do better than to nip down to the shop at the Storehouse of Foulis just below the house.
