The Foulis Ferry Walk
You can walk to the Ferry in about twenty minutes and the lunch is well worth the effort.

Centrepiece of Storehouse of Foulis, delightfully set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth in the heart of Munro country, is the fully restored 18th C., grade A listed, Storehouse. Housed within are a series of entertaining informative and educational history and wildlife exhibitions.

There are two different ways to get there, one on the road the other through the fields.
THROUGH THE FIELDS:
Leave the house and go down the lane to the railway gates immediately in front of the property
Cross over the tracks and turn right. CLOSE THE GATES IF YOU OPEN THEM!
Walk through the field until you come to the Station Road just below the level crossing
Turn left and proceed to the Main Road.
Be very careful crossing the road, the A9 is very busy. NORTH AMERICANS LOOK RIGHT
The Storehouse is to your left.
After lunch feel free to wander along the shore in either direction enjoying the wild life.
To return just follow your footsteps.
BY ROAD:
This takes a little longer but your feet will stay dry and mud free.
Go to the top of the driveway
Turn left and walk along the Top Road until you come to the Station Road, which is the first road on your left.
Follow the road all the way down to the A9 the main road
Be very careful crossing the road, the A9 is very busy.
The Storehouse is to your left.
After lunch feel free to wander along the shore in either direction enjoying the wild life.
To return just follow your footsteps.
